The core values, management expertise, and services provided by SheltAir Aviation Services go back to the mid-1960's when Gerald M. Holland, Owner and President of SheltAir Aviation Services, started Holland Builders Inc., a general aviation development and contracting company.

In 1988, the Fort Lauderdale and Daytona Beach Jet Centers were formed. Operating as both Fixed Base Operations (FBO) and commercial ground handling/fueling companies, the Jet Centers quickly expanded past the aviation development realm of Holland Builders Inc.

In June of 2004, the Jet Centers officially changed their name and branding to 'SheltAir Aviation Services' in an effort to unify a fast growing aviation business nationwide. SheltAir Aviation Services continued to expand, adding facilities and services in Orlando, New York City, Jacksonville, St. Petersburg- Clearwater, Panama City, Islip-Ronkonkoma, Farmingdale, Westhampton Beach, and Plattsburgh, NY.

The fact that the entire process can be directed from one source beginning with the design and site selection of the facility, to the construction, financing, and property management are key components of our group’s success.
