From Jennifer Zarkos on 06-Jul-2010

This was one of the best experiences we have had at an FBO!! We arrived after hours and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our passengers as well as the crew. Although it was our first time to this facility, Allie made us feel as though we had been parking with them for years! SheltAir in Savannah should be the model for how ALL other FBO’s run their business!!

customer comment

From Joyce and Wendell Rust Bourbon Indiana on 05-Jul-2010

Mr. Pooler, I submitted a customer comment on your website, but am not sure it fully executed. We flew our Beech Bonanza N1838R to your FBO on Wed. June 30th and departed Fri. July 2. Your staff is a super group of individuals. Location wise, Pompano Beach was not the closest airport to our destination. But I phoned ahead to SheltAir and to another FBO at a different airport. The response I received over the phone convinced me that we would get far better service at your FBO. I was right. Not everyone is flying a King Air or a Challenger. But your staff treated us lowly Bonanza drivers with the same courtesy and enthusiasm as if we were the best customer they’d had all day. Many many thanks to the guys (Alex/ Jody). Whenever we have a choice, we’ll choose SheltAir every time. Kindest regards.

Flew a Seminole into SheltAir on 05-26-10 & departed on 05-28-10. Dan & Judy were great, and took care of our needs. Everything I expect when dealing with a SheltAir. Used Sheltair in almost every location up and down the east coast and been very satisfied.

The Collings Foundation, “Wings of Freedom Tour” stopped at SheltAir Pompano Beach his past weekend. A B-17, B-24 and a P-51 Mustang were visiting us on our ramp, we had hundreds of visitors stop by to take a look at history.

Judy, Alex, Nick and Jody all did a great job fueling our customers around the frenzy that the tour brought with them.

Great Job Guys!

Arrived in a 182 and were met with the Follow Me cart at the edge of the ramp, guided to a spot and welcomed. Nice greetings inside as well. Upon departure (a mere 15 minutes later), our aircraft was protected by four safety cones and chocks on both mains. A different line person than the one that parked us removed the cones and chocks, thanked us for coming, and offered some cold water. All this and we were on a short hop and didn’t need fuel; great job!

I flew in to Savannah in a 172 and was treated like a king! Gas was $5.29 but they give you a 50-cent discount if you top off with them. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful, such a breath of fresh air over the other guys on the field!

We flew in for a meeting in our company’s Citation. The folks at Sheltair had a conference room waiting, catered lunch set up, and great fuel prices with our CAA discount. Job well done!
