SHELTAIR’S LETTER ON COVID – 19
(March 16, 2020)
Dear Valued Customer:
At times of national emergencies, general aviation has consistently played a strategic role when key people need to be in the air. For two generations the aviation community has depended on Sheltair to be there to support the people and aircraft that help keep our nation connected at times of crisis.
That air corridor is now being tested as never before as America confronts COVID 19.
There is no higher priority to our entire Sheltair Family than the safety of our customers, tenants and employees. It is important to know that by maintaining our high professional standards and numerous precautions undertaken by Sheltair, our FBO’s across the country stand ready to welcome you and meet your travel needs. That commitment is in recognition of how important general aviation access is to you, your business, and the economy as a whole.
Of course we are tracking Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) as well as local, state and federal health departments’ for the latest protocols that allow us to ensure safe operations for our employees and our clients. These include:
Expanding on CDC hygiene Guidelines
We have expanded our disinfection procedures at all facilities to provide the safest environment possible for our employees and customers. From frequent handwashing, to the increased frequency of cleaning common areas, cleanliness has become as important as ramp safety. During this time we have also suspended open food offerings such as our traditional free popcorn, cookies and fruit.
Educating, training and updating staff members
As this public health crisis continues to evolve, ongoing staff training is being conducted to enhance our cleaning and disinfecting procedures that maintain a healthy environment for our guests and staff. This effort follows Sheltair’s previous program of staff illness prevention and education. As always, we are instructing our staff to stay home if they are unwell and following the CDC guidelines on social distancing.
Proud to serve
Sheltair has always been proud to serve. Now, in these unprecedented times, we want you to know that your safety and well-being continue to be our first priority. We look forward to welcoming you. But just for now, without a handshake.
We understand the situation is rapidly evolving and will continue to respond and share timely and relevant information through our website at www.sheltairaviation.com.
We look forward to serving you!

(February 28, 2020)
The City of Ocala in partnership with Sheltair, the Ocala Airport Fixed Based Operator (FBO), opened the main terminal at Ocala International Airport (OIA) Friday, February 28, representing a $7 million public-private investment in a facility designed to serve a dynamic Florida community while strengthening the role of general aviation.
The Ocala terminal project represents the combined efforts of the City of Ocala, the airport, the Florida Department of Transportation, and Sheltair. The new 15,722s square foot terminal is a state-of-the-art building with soaring architecture that will house the Sheltair FBO (including offices, crew lounge, a ‘quiet room,™ and flight planning areas), airport administration offices, rental car facilities, community event space and a local restaurant expected to open next year.
Through City Council’s leadership and key partnerships with the Florida Department of Transportation and Sheltair Aviation, this project has gone from concept to creation, said Ocala Interim City Manager, Sandra Wilson. This airport terminal will serve as an iconic gateway to Ocala and Marion County for business and leisure travelers for generations to come. It signifies our recognition of the positive economic impact the general aviation industry has on this community.
In addition, Sheltair has just broken ground on a new 19,800 square foot hangar at OIA with spacious 28-foot doors that will accommodate the latest corporate jets that help keep our nation’s economy in motion.
Todd Anderson, Sheltair’s Senior Vice President of Real Estate and Development, stated, We believe that this new hangar now under construction and the adjacent FBO building represent a world-class ‘front door’ to the City of Ocala that has come to market just in time. Our company is proud to be part of this unique partnership, contributing our proven aviation design expertise along with a $2 million financial investment, allowing all of us to celebrate a much-anticipated ribbon cutting.
Anderson notes that it will not only be able to accommodate current general aviation traffic but the significant growth in passenger traffic that will occur when the 4,000-acre World Equestrian Center opens in 2021, becoming an acclaimed Ocala international destination.
The terminal and hangar are not the only areas receiving considerable attention at the airport. Late last year, the Ocala City Council approved a $5.25-million contract for rehabilitation of the airport’s main taxiway.
Mr. Anderson concluded, The infrastructure that supports general aviation is crucial to its role in supporting a region’s economy. The public officials of Ocala City and the executives of the airport recognize this essential fact and it is reflected in this new terminal and the role it is expected to play in the years to come.

SHELTAIR AVIATION AND BLADE ANNOUNCE STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP THAT ENHANCES NY METRO OPTIONS FOR THE AERO COMMUTER
(October 23, 2019)
Sheltair Aviation and Blade announce a strategic partnership that enhances NY metro options for the aero commuter
The partnership will bolster existing air mobility access while building the foundation for the coming shift to Electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOLâ€) aircraft
[Sheltair, Inc.] (Sheltairâ€) and BLADE Urban Air Mobility, Inc. (BLADEâ€) have announced an alliance to expand Urban Air Mobility opportunities for the New York metro aero commuter†while working to build the infrastructure necessary to support the future arrival of electrically powered vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
Sheltair is the sole operator of helicopter landing sites at New York’s JFK and LaGuardia airports while BLADE is the largest arranger of helicopter flights for civilian travel in the United States. It maintains approximately 90% market share for by-the-seat helicopter travel in New York City.
The combination of Sheltair’s exclusive presence at both of New York’s commercial airports and BLADE’s leading market share cannot be replicated by any other companies in existence today, said Rob Wiesenthal, BLADE’s CEO, New York City is the largest Urban Air Mobility market in the world and, together, we can enable new, cost-effective offerings that will be competitive with app-based ridesharing prices while delivering massive time savings and productivity gains to commuters.
The need for seamless air travel
Sheltair’s Regional Vice President, Robert McAdams, stated, Emails, texts and video calls haven’t eliminated our need to get from point A to point B in the fastest, smartest way possible. That is why Sheltair has teamed up with BLADE to ensure that people whose time is precious can access safe, reliable helicopters from our strategically located terminals that provide access to destinations throughout the New York metropolitan area. We haven’t reinvented the dynamics of flight but we have made it far easier to benefit from the considerable experience and extraordinary service commitment of this ground/air service team.
BLADE currently operates from Sheltair’s JFK and LaGuardia locations and will expand their footprint to Republic Airport (FRG), in East Farmingdale. Sheltair’s FRG customers will now have access to exclusive UAM transport options from BLADE.
Pairing Farmingdale’s strategic location outside of New York City’s busiest airspace with BLADE’s UAM service results in massive time savings for Manhattan’s general aviation fliers, said Sheltair’s Senior Vice President of Real Estate and Development Todd Anderson. Given the preferential helicopter transfer pricing now available to Sheltair customers, Farmingdale will be the clear airport of choice for travelers who value efficiency and can’t afford to experience air traffic delays.

Pictured: L-R Robert McAdams, Sheltair’s Regional Vice President; Will Heyburn, Blade’s Head of Corporate Development; Lisa Holland, Sheltair’s President of Corporate Strategies; Melissa Tomkiel, Blade’s President, Fixed Wing; Francisco Alonzo, Sheltair’s Regional Vice President of Real Estate and Development
Electrics are coming
Virtually silent, fossil-fuel-free vertical transportation is already being developed by the aviation community and both BLADE and Sheltair are in discussions as to how best to plan for the introduction of that innovation.
Electric VTOL aircraft will be nothing short of revolutionary. Federal authorities are already considering the rules and regulations by which these aircraft will fly as the technology matures to the point of where it is ready to be introduced into the nation’s air transportation system. We need to be ready on the ground as well to ensure we can meet the demands of the customer and the needs of BLADE as they provide the passenger with unprecedented access through `air power,™â€ stated Anderson of Sheltair.

(October 22, 2019)
For this year’s Super Bowl at the Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, Florida, the smart money is on those aviation operators who plan ahead.
Sheltair’s Director of Sales and Marketing, Karen Kroeppel, stated, When its game time on February 2, 2020, general aviation airports across a wide orbit around Miami will be inundated with aircraft from across the country as thousands of passengers will want to be in that stadium. Given our significant presence across Florida, Sheltair is already taking reservation slots for hangar and ramp space with operators visiting our NBAA convention booth, N4123, here in Las Vegas.
Kroeppel said their facility at Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) is close to the action as is Opa Locka (OPF). I would say it’s a solid field goal kick away. With convenient access to and from the stadium, ample ramp space for aircraft parking, IS-BAH registered, and hangar pending availability, it’s not even a coin toss.
Sheltair also has the option of directing overflow to its Pompano Beach Airport location (PMP), which is ideal for mid-size jet operators. A courtesy van can also shuttle passengers and crew to and from Fort Lauderdale International Airport.
She notes that they expect airport tail gate and viewing parties onsite on the day of the game but that aviation operators should be aware that the real celebration for them comes in the form of Avfuel AVTRIP Rewards and Incentives as well as other aviation support services offered by Sheltair.
When the convention winds down in Vegas on October 24th the 100 day countdown to Super Bowl kick off in Miami begins but the real winners in the aviation community will be those who secured their arrival slots during their visit to our booth here at NBAA, concluded Ms. Kroeppel.

SHELTAIR OFFERS VIRTUAL WALK THROUGH OF ITS NEW FORT LAUDERDALE EXECUTIVE AIRPORT (FXE) NORTHSIDE HANGAR COMPLEX AT NBAA-BACE BOOTH C11843
(October 22, 2019)
Leasing space at Sheltair’s new Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport FXE hangar is key to your business aviation plans but can’t make the time to conduct a due diligence walk thru?
No problem.
Sheltair has developed a virtual reality tour of the complex that is being featured at the NBAA’s annual Business Aviation Convention and Exhibit currently underway in Las Vegas.
Located inside Convention Booth C11843, the only thing missing is the smell of jet fuel and Florida ocean breezes.
Todd Anderson, Sheltair’s Senior Vice President of Real Estate and Development says the virtual tour is an effective means of providing potential tenants with an onsite experience without having to be on site. He explained, This virtual walkthrough allows us to offer convention visitors one of the best takeaways you can offer: precious time.
The virtual tour allows an individual to fully experience Sheltair’s new 207,000 FXE Northside hangar complex; from the guest receiving area, to the modern state-of-the-art hangar facility to the secure office space that can support tenant operations – it’s all there, but virtually, at Sheltair’s NBAA Las Vegas convention booth.
The display also provides the virtual visitor with an appreciation of how close Miami, Dade and Palm Beach area to FXE, communities that have long offered a business friendly environment.
Mr. Anderson notes Sheltair is no stranger to Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. Since the mid-1980s, Sheltair has developed, constructed and now manages some one million square feet at FXE. Sheltair offers the largest mix of hangars and airside commercial office space at FXE, one of busiest general aviation destinations in the nation. We are proud of that leadership position because it reflects the confidence and faith the airport and the aviation community have in Sheltair.
Sheltair’s virtual tour allows visitors to envision as many as eight built-to-suit hangars with up to 22,500 square feet, hangar doors capable of welcoming 28 foot tall high tails, 24/7 fuel and ground support and its proximity to major highways and downtown business districts.
The underlying strength of general aviation is that it physically brings people together but a virtual visit of FXE ensures that our tenants can make their aviation decisions faster and smarter and do it while touring NBAA Las Vegas, concluded Mr. Anderson.

SHELTAIR AVIATION’S NEW REPUBLIC AIRPORT COMPLEX GREETS ITS NEW AVIATION TENANTS
Additional new space welcoming prospective aircraft owners as construction moves ahead on three more hangars
(Farmingdale, NY. March 11, 2019)If Sheltair Aviation could find a 144,000 square-foot red carpet for their new $55 million dollar FBO hangar complex at historic Republic Airport, East Farmingdale, New York, (FRG) this would be the time to roll it out.
With splashes of sunlight filling their spacious hangar floors, each new facility offers 31,000 square feet of floor space, 4000 square feet of office space, 28-foot door heights, generous ramp space, and dedicated vehicle parking. On what was once part of an historic defense complex, the entrance to the Sheltair complex is exclusive and secure for tenants and their guests.
Sheltair’s decision to make a multi-million-dollar investment at Republic Airport reflects several strategic factors. Location: Republic sits under the New York metropolitan area’s economic umbrella and a short helicopter ride away from Manhattan, allowing general aviation aircraft uncongested access to one of the most important business markets in the world. Need: Corporate aviation has long expressed a desire for Sheltair to expand its FRG footprint with new state-of-the-art buildings. Government Support: New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has long appreciated the importance of General Aviation and successfully advocated on behalf of a series of pro-business, pro-aviation initiatives.
Todd Anderson, Sheltair Senior Vice President for Real Estate and Development, said, A tremendous amount of time and effort has been invested in the design and construction of these facilities. For example, unlike most hangars, thermal pane windows just beneath the roof line allow natural light to flood the space. While the facility is obviously heated, so, too, are the hangar door tracks to ensure winter ice and snow can’t impede operations. Energy efficient features are found throughout the design, and the administrative spaces are capable of being configured to meet the unique needs of each tenant.
Sheltair’s Chief Operating Officer, Warren Kroeppel, said, These first three of what will be six hangars reflect decades of experience in what works when ensuring the most efficient use of space for tenants. However, what can’t be put in a blueprint is the level of service offered by each and every Sheltair Aviation employee. You can put all types of amenities into a building but it still comes down to an individual commitment to excellence.
Leasing opportunities are still available
While space is still available in new Sheltair complex, two thirds of the hangars have already been fully leased.
Among the aviation tenants that have already taken up residence in the new Sheltair complex is Zenflight which operates a unique private club†of corporate aircraft based around the country. Given the amenities and operational sophistication of Sheltair’s new hangars Zenflight has made Republic their corporate headquarters.
Mr. Malte Lorenz, president of Zenflight, stated, We have long recognized Republic Airport’s location is important for many of our clients, so when Sheltair completed these 21st Century hangars, we wanted to be first in line to secure space. However, in addition to modern aviation hangars, their design was so attractive it compelled us to locate our administrative office at this location, maximizing efficiencies and allowing us to keep jobs on Long Island.
Zenflight holds its own FAA Part 135 certificate and flies a fleet that includes a Cirrus SR22, Bell 407, Pilatus PC12 NG, Gulfstream 100, Gulfstream IVSP, Gulfstream G450, Gulfstream G550, two Falcon 2000 EX Easy, and a Falcon 900LX Easy. For more information about the services offered by the company please contact them at 833-ZEN-FLY1.
Sheltair is suggesting those wishing to take advantage of remaining space at their new Republic facility should contact Ms. April Converse ataconverse@sheltairaviation.com

For the past dozen years he has applied his skill and expertise to positioning Sheltair as one of the most respected fixed base operators (FBOs) in the New York metro area. Elected by his peers to serve as president of the New York Aviation Management Association, he is also a director of the Long Island Business Aviation Association.
George Gorman, Long Island Deputy Director of the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, stated, Linda and Bill best exemplify the enormous dedication, professionalism and teamwork that has gone into the past 15 years of air shows over Jones Beach. They and their companies have been partners with New York State Parks from the very first air show and due to their support the air show is
highly regarded by both military and civilian performers.
The two represented their respective companies during a gala dinner that featured General David Petraeus in conversation with Congressman Peter King. The General is one of the most prominent combat commanders in recent American military history. He is respected by his military peers and historians alike for having led military campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan and then serving as our nation’s Director of the Central Intelligence Agency. His presence underscores the role of the Museum of American Armor in presenting thought leaders on issues of national security.
A Museum dedicated to strengthening democracy by understanding the past
Opened in cooperation with Nassau County Department of Parks, Recreation and Museums, The Museum of American Armor at Old Bethpage Village Restoration is a living tribute to every veteran who has served our country and those who continue to defend our nation today. Its collection includes operational World War II tanks, artillery, armored cars and weapons that broke the back of the Axis powers some seventy five years ago. It is open Wednesdays through Sundays, year-around, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Its programs are presented through the support of Polimeni International, Squad Security, PSEG Long Island, Bethpage Federal Credit Union, the law firm of Rosenberg Calica & Birney, BDG, Ltd., Greenfield’s Shoprite, Seritage Growth Properties, Sheltair Aviation, among others.

SHELTAIR AVIATION’S DAYTONA BEACH AIRPORT FBO IS READY FOR THE DAYTONA 500 TO “START THEIR ENGINES”
Daytona Beach, FL. Feb. 13, 2019 – NASCAR’s Daytona 500, a national celebration of automotive speed, engineering and driver derring-do, will once again be supported by one of the most respected providers of aviation services, Sheltair Aviation, as the company welcomes General Aviation aircraft arriving at Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB), in the days and hours leading up to the February 17th event.
Sheltair is a long-time veteran of assisting the hundreds of aircraft that bring visitors to the race, ensuring that each one gets a red carpet†welcome. Pilots particularly welcome Sheltair’s arrival protocol that, despite the high traffic volume, has eliminated landing slots.
Warren Kroeppel, Chief Operating Officer of Sheltair, observed, The surge in activity actually begins a full week before the legendary Daytona 500 with the Daytona area hosting NASCAR Speedweeks, a series of racing events that are held prior to the big day. As a result, we have a role in supporting a nearly $254 million boost to the local economy and we are proud to be part of that effort.
Sheltair has been welcoming racing enthusiasts since 1988, the year Sheltair arrived at DAB. The company’s onsite General Manager, Arvin Weese, has worked at the airport since 1997, and explains that welcoming the number of aircraft in such a short and intense period of time is akin to participating in a General Aviation Olympics†competition.
Consider: There is a constant stream of incoming aircraft with different arrival times, different, needs, different pilot requests, different passenger expectations, and each one is an urgent priority. It is `all hands on deck’ as we manage a surge in arrivals and departures that would rival LaGuardia Airport on a Monday morning, explained Weese. And how we handle that challenge during a single week can define the company for a year.
One Sheltair employee, Carlos Metcalf, has been at the airport since 1985, providing the type of ground support during Speedweeks that reflects his considerable experience in multitasking inside an environment that does not permit mistakes. And now Carlos has his son working at the airport, offering an exciting opportunity for a second generation of committed aviation professionals, continued Weese.
While U.S. Customs and The Daytona Speedway is within walking distance of Sheltair’s FBO facility, the company notes that amenities such as crew cars are available for those traveling into nearby Daytona Beach. Sheltair also prides itself on its DAB FBO facility that includes a first class lounge, attentive concierge service, a pilots’ planning/weather office, complimentary aircraft interior cleaning and more.

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates / December 7, 2018 / GENERAL AVIATION NEWS / Sheltair and Avfuel are partnering up once again at the Middle East Business Aviation Association (MEBAA) Show to represent their award-winning brands to international operators in stand 685.
Sheltair staff will be on hand to represent its network of 18 modern FBOs throughout Florida, Georgia, New York and Colorado.
We’re particularly enthused to speak to operators about our New York locations and the addition of our 18th FBO in Denver, Colorado, said Karen Kroeppel, Sheltair’s director of sales and marketing. In particular, our JFK location often serves as the main gateway for international operators—from there, we welcome them throughout the Sheltair network and are pleased to add Colorado’s bustling business epicenter to that list.
Since securing its location at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport (KBJC), Sheltair’s development team has been busy finalizing the plans for the FBO’s new state-of-the-art terminal, hangar facility and fuel farm. With the Avfuel Pro Card, operators gain access to streamlined transactions at 3,000+ global locations, zero fees on any purchase—including non-fuel items that don’t require a fuel purchase to be transacted—and the ability to put everything on one invoice. Operators who wish to learn more about Avfuel’s aviation solutions—including AVTRIP, the Avfuel Pro Card, and its network of 650+ branded FBOs and 3,000+ fueling locations—along with Sheltair’s network and expansive services, are encouraged to visit stand 685 while at the show.

SHELTAIR SHOWCASES THEIR NEWEST MULTIMILLION DOLLAR HANGAR PROJECT AT ORLANDO EXECUTIVE AIRPORT
Its four story FBO terminal allows visitors a view of the future
Orlando, Florida – Reflecting the continued demand for Class A general aviation facilities in the heart of Florida, Sheltair Aviation is showcasing its support facilities at Orlando Executive Airport (ORL) as part of the company’s ongoing strategy to offer hangar and administrative space that maximize efficiencies while offering unprecedented amenities.
Todd Anderson, Sheltair Senior Vice President for Real Estate and Development, stated, We have been enjoying considerable interest in our new hangar and administrative space at ORL. Built in two phases, there are two hangars totaling 22,600 square feet of space with 3,600 square feet of office space and a new four-story executive terminal that dramatically expands on amenities offered our visitors, including a new FBO executive terminal and a restaurant for passengers, crew and the general public featuring spectacular views.
Anderson continued, Our commitment is a $13.5 million statement regarding how Sheltair Aviation views the future of Orlando Executive Airport and the communities it serves, given its location some three miles from the business and financial center of Central Florida.
Additionally, Orlando Executive is the preferred airport for many traveling to Orlando’s downtown businesses, sports, performing arts and entertainment venues, Winter Park, University of Central Florida and its research and business parks.
Anderson added, The need has been obvious and we have responded with facilities that will serve far into the 21stCentury.
Orlando has been ranked among the top ten in one annual survey while a KPMG report ranks it as second most competitive business location among large cities in the United States.
Sheltair’s Orlando facility remains a defining standard for performance among the nation’s FBOs, offering excellent customer service, superior ground support, first-class concierge services, complimentary interior cabin cleaning, catering, crew cars, passenger shuttle services, complimentary refreshments, wireless Internet, spacious conference room, a flight planning and weather room and pilots lounge.
SHELTAIR HAS ACTIVATED ITS HURRICANE RECOVERY PLAN AS “MICHAEL” DEPARTS THE FLORIDA PANHANDLE
Sheltair, one of the nation’s leading privately-owned aviation development companies, has activated its hurricane recovery plan at their Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) facility near Panama City following the departure of Hurricane Michael from the Florida Panhandle.
Sheltair has long recognized the potential threat to our airport facilities from severe weather as well as the need to resume operations quickly to support recovery efforts within hours of a storm’s departure, stated Sheltair’s Chairman, CEO and founder Jerry Holland.
Accordingly, our company has activated a comprehensive recovery plan for the specific purpose of supporting any and all emergency aviation operations that need access to our ramp at ECP, he explained.
Prior to the hurricane, Sheltair released all non-essential personnel while working with appropriate airport authorities to ensure that aircraft, support equipment, and structures were prepared for historic hurricane force winds.
We know from prior experiences with severe weather throughout our FBO network that each storm is different and can `attack’ an aviation facility in unexpected ways. We also know the importance of the ability to recover from a catastrophic storm in the shortest period of time because airports become even more important following weather emergencies. As a result, our team is now ready to assist first responders at ECP, noted Warren Kroeppel, Chief Operating Officer.
With limited power at ECP, Sheltair is diverting phone calls from general aviation customers to a remote location and will continue to answer calls and provide updated information until Sheltair ECP is available to non-emergency aviation. They ask that you email all operational request to ecphurricaneinfo@sheltairaviation.com. Sheltair Florida locations open and standing by to serve and support operations are: DAB, FLL, LAL, OCF, PIE, PMP and SPG. For updates please monitor our website at www.sheltairaviation.com.
SHELTAIR EXPANDS WESTWARD
Sheltair Aviation, one of the nation’s leading aviation services companies, today announced that it has entered into along term lease agreement with Jefferson County, Colorado, to construct and operate a full service FBO and hangar complex at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport (KBJC).
The agreement marks Sheltair’s first corporate presence west of the Mississippi and reflects the national strength of a company that, for over thirty years, has grown its reputation at airports along the eastern seaboard.
Phase One development plans include a new 10,000 square foot FBO facility, a new 35,000 square foot hangar and a new fuel farm on 10 acres at KBJC which is located in Broomfield, approximately 15 miles northwest of Denver’s downtown and some 15 miles southeast of Boulder. Future plans include development of an additional 25 acres of aviation related space.
Jerry Holland, founder chairman and CEO of Sheltair, stated, Our newest corporate address in Colorado reflects the natural progression of a company that carefully studies the market, identifies communities that embrace general aviation, considers the role of airports in supporting regional economies and the vision of local officials. Based on this criteria, it was easy to conclude that Sheltair wanted to be at Rocky Mountain Metro Airport.
Todd Anderson, Sheltair Senior Vice President for Real Estate and Development, observed, When we look at an FBO location we view our efforts as part of a partnership with airport operations, local elected officials, the community beyond the fence and, of course, our customers. There is a synergy we look for that ensures success because we have long known that an FBO is more than brick and mortar. That is why we are so enthusiastic about coming to KBJC for there is a self-evident blue print for success.
Airport Director Paul Anslow remarked that the airport is the fourth busiest airport in Colorado and during 2017, handled 170,553 aircraft operations, an average of 467 per day.
We are proud of the fact that our priorities are customer service, safety, and the creation of a business-friendly environment. We offer the aviation community unequaled service 24 hours a day, seven days a week and this is particularly important when meeting the needs of those traveling for business, pleasure, or both, Jefferson County Commissioner Libby Szabo stated. Sheltair’s arrival reflects the continuing execution of the airport’s master plan that calls for a series of carefully thought out expansions with professional partners with whom we have complete confidence.
About Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport
The Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport, located just west of Denver in Jefferson County, is the 4th busiest in Colorado. Our priorities are customer service, safety, and a business-friendly environment. SHELTAIR STARTS CONSTRUCTION ON NEW HANGAR COMPLEX AT FORT LAUDERDALE’S FXE NORTHSIDE PROPERTIES
Sheltair starts construction on a new hangar complex at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport that will house Banyan Air’s Red Carpet†FBO services
Sheltair Aviation, one of the nation’s leading aviation services companies, today announced the firm will build, lease, and manage a new 20-acre Northside Hangar Complex at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport with fixed-base operator services offered by Banyan Air Service.
The facility will not only include a state-of-the-art 180,000 square foot hangar complex consisting of eight large cabin-class sized hangars and an additional 30,000 square feet of office and shop space but will also be the home of Banyan’s Northside FBO terminal, allowing them to continue to serve an expanding, exclusive clientele that insists on professionalism and privacy for their travel arrangements. Construction is already underway on the $30 million dollar complex with ribbon cutting ceremonies scheduled for the winter of 2019.
This is an extremely exciting project for us as we are partnering with Banyan Air Service to create the type of facility that complements our respective firms; Sheltair building and managing a new state of the art multi-million dollar aviation facility and Banyan’s top of the line red carpet FBO services and support to a discerning customer. It represents the mutual respect two aviation services companies have for each other and a shared commitment to excellence, stated Jerry Holland, founder chairman and CEO of Sheltair.
Banyan Air Service president Don Campion said, Working with Sheltair on this project was an easy decision. On occasion, we may be proud competitors, but at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport we’ve aligned our interest with one another for almost 40 years. Once again we will expand our operations and Sheltair will grow their footprint through this exciting expansion of the north side of Executive Airport. This cooperative effort enhances the airport, and most importantly, better serves our customers.
Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean J. Trantalis said, This significant investment reflects the strength of our economy and the tremendous confidence Sheltair and Banyan have in Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. The project is a credit to Sheltair’s ability to bring development to our City that builds value, creates jobs, and continues to drive economic growth.
The aviation community has opportunities
Sheltair is providing unique leasing opportunities for exclusive, private hangar and office space with early bird’ incentive packages available for fuel and other amenities.
Todd Anderson, Sheltair Senior Vice President for Real Estate and Development, explained, There is already considerable interest from flight departments and aircraft owners who need more hangar space and want an exclusive secure aviation hangar complex. The project consists of eight hangars within a short taxi distance to the runway ranging up to 22,000 square feet with 28-foot high hangar doors and customized build outs are an option.
As the FBO, Banyan will have a dedicated terminal building open 24/7 to provide FBO and line service for the tenants which, in turn, will allow customers to take advantage of the airport’s 24/7 tower and security operations.

SHELTAIR CELEBRATES THEIR 15TH YEAR SUPPORTING THE ACCLAIMED JONES BEACH/BETHPAGE FEDERAL CREDIT UNION MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND AIR SHOW
(Farmingdale, N.Y.) – Memorial Day 2018 marked the 15th anniversary of the acclaimed Jones Beach / Bethpage Federal Credit Union Memorial Day Weekend Air Show on Long Island, and Sheltair Aviation continued its tradition of supporting aircraft that, this year, varied from the Blue Angels supersonic F-18s to Sean Tucker’s Oracle Challenger III.
Sheltair observed this milestone anniversary by hosting a ramp reception at their Republic Airport facility that welcomed their tenants and customers, community neighbors, and Sheltair employees from their New York facilities including JFK, LaGuardia, Republic, Islip and Westhampton.
Some 275 guests enjoyed good food and good times, posed for photos with FDR†adjacent to a column of World War II armor and, of course, had amazing views of air show performers taking off from Republic’s runways. But there was a far more serious side to Sheltair’s activities during the holiday weekend.
Warren Kroeppel, Sheltair’s Chief Operating Officer, stated, Even with a show that was shortened by rain, over 200,000 people saw these aircraft perform over two days, and we know that without proper ground support, the exacting performance timetable could be put at risk. That will never happen on our watch.
As part of Sheltair’s sustained commitment to community philanthropy, the reception included ceremonies that saw the company donate $1,000 to the Museum of American Armor, a regional institution that has some 40 operational tanks and armor vehicles that pay tribute to our military.
In accepting the gift, armor museum volunteer, Mike Justin, stood beside several armored cars on display at the Sheltair reception and stated, Sheltair has consistently supported our mission of keeping our nation’s military heritage alive, and we are grateful for their past and continued support.
Sheltair is among the nation’s largest and most respected privately-owned network of fixed base operators with locations throughout Florida, Georgia and New York. Its Republic operation is within the shadow of famous hangars that built legendary Republic Aviation fighters and bombers.

SHELTAIR AVIATION’S JFK FBO ASSISTS GOVERNOR CUOMO’S RECOVERY EFFORTS FOR PUERTO RICO
As part of its response to an unprecedented hurricane season, Sheltair Aviation’s JFK FBO facility is supporting efforts by New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo to airlift much needed recovery equipment and supplies to the battered island of Puerto Rico.
Internally we are calling this `Operation Helping Hands’ as we expand our emergency response program to ensure we can assist the efforts of front line rescue and restoration efforts being launched by the Governor, government agencies and charitable groups, stated Sheltair’s Chairman, CEO and founder Jerry Holland.
Embracing Governor Cuomo’s observation that We are all family, in responding to the devastation inflicted by Hurricane Maria, Sheltair coordinated with JetBlue and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to facilitate an emergency response flight departing from the General Aviation Terminal managed by Sheltair. Sheltair provided pro bono manpower and equipment to assist with passenger handling and much of the support baggage needed by the emergency response team when they arrive in Puerto Rico.
Among the items Governor Cuomo made available through the airlift is some 34,000 bottles of water, 9,600 Ready to Eat Meals, 3,000 canned goods, hundreds of flashlights, blankets and generators. The Governor departed the Sheltair facility with a team of rescue experts on a flight donated by JetBlue.
Robert McAdams, Sheltair’s General Manager at JFK stated, In the wake of a hurricane season that is testing all of us as never before our company has a very simple response: whatever is needed. I am proud of the men and women at our JFK facility that responded literally overnight to the Governor’s request for ground support and we are ready to do it again as often as necessary.

SHELTAIR DEBUTS NEW HANGAR COMPLEX AT FLL
JANUARY 26, 2018
Sheltair held the official grand opening of its new hangar complex on the west side of Florida’s Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport yesterday. The $30 million expansion adds 145,000 sq ft of hangar and office space to the FBO—one of four service providers on the field—and brings it to more than 457,000 sq ft of hangar, office, and FBO terminal space on the west side and 91,000 sq ft of hangars and offices on the north side of the airport.
We have paid particular attention to projecting the future needs of our clients, noted Todd Anderson, the Florida-based FBO chain’s senior vice president for real estate and development. As a result, the new hangars can accommodate the newer, larger-cabin aircraft operators because of a deliberate design that includes 28-foot-tall hangar doors and an infrastructure that can meet their maintenance, repair, and overhaul needs.
The FBO, a member of the DASSP program offering direct access to Washington Reagan National Airport, is open 24/7 and has an on-site U.S. Customs and Border Protection facility to process international arrivals.
ALL SHELTAIR FBOS FULLY OPERATIONAL FOLLOWING HURRICANE IRMA
The Sheltair team is thrilled to announce that all of its locations are now fully operational following the closures of its Florida and Georgia locations in the wake of Hurricane Irma. We thank our customers for their patience and well-wishes during the activated hurricane plan, and would like to further thank our partners for making this challenging process as smooth as possible.
Of course, the implementation of special procedures would not have been possible without the around-the clock efforts of our dedicated employees throughout the Sheltair network–it is only through their efforts we are able to resume operations today.
In addition, our relationship with Avfuel kept our locations supplied with the necessary fuel to evacuate passengers and planes, keep tanks heavy, receive traffic in our New York locations looking to escape Irma, and resume operations throughout Florida and Georgia to serve your fueling needs.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those still experiencing the hardships of both Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. We hope that our return to normal operations can help facilitate continued relief from the sky.

RELIEF PLANES LOAD IN OCALA, FLY TO IRMA-DAMAGED SOUTH FLORIDA
AERObridge, Sheltair Aviation and Crossroads Alliance are staging at the city’s airport
In a normal week, Russell Wright would be getting ready for his College of Central Florida management classes before school starts each Monday. Instead, on Friday, he was stuffing bagged groceries and bottled water into his single-engine plane on a hot Ocala tarmac.
The 49-year-old professor and head of the college’s bachelor’s degree program had had enough of watching television and seeing millions of Floridians without power and food rotting in their homes — if they had a home — following Hurricane Irma.
So, he put his piloting skills to use with AERObridge, a global organization of volunteer pilots who fly needed supplies to areas impacted by natural disasters. On Friday afternoon, Wright was loading his Piper Comanche with food and water at the Ocala International Airport.
The airport was chosen, in part, because of its central location and infrastructure resources. It is one of a handful of regional Florida general aviation airports that is part of AERObridge relief efforts throughout Florida post-Irma.
From Ocala, AERObridge flights are going to airports in Homestead, Lakeland, Fort Myers, Jacksonville and Key West.
The Ocala airport started working with its fixed-based operator, Sheltair Aviation; Crossroads Alliance, which organizes the flights and deliveries; and AERObridge on Wednesday.
There were about 50 flights by Friday, involving 20 planes. The relief project is expected to continue into this week.
I’m doing it because I can. And people need help, Wright said. I felt helpless doing nothing.
Although Florida and the federal government have thrown their full weight behind getting help to victims of the hurricane, We can do it faster and go places they might not be able to go, such as unimproved airports, Wright said.
While pilots have volunteered an assortment of planes, most own smaller, single-engine planes that can carry a pilot and a passenger or two. In addition to fuel, Wright’s plane can carry about 500 pounds of cargo. His first destination Friday was Homestead, in south Florida. He said Crossroads Alliance, which organizes the food pickups and dropoffs, would tell him where to fly next.
Friday’s flights cost Wright about $250-$300 in fuel. Then there is the wear and tear on his plane. Sheltair sold him the fuel at a discount, which is part of the company’s contribution to the project.
I’ll keep doing this until I run out of supplies to deliver, they don’t need me, or I can’t pay for it anymore, Wright said.
Ocala International Airport director Matthew Grow said he was glad the city’s airport could play such an important role in getting food and supplies to devastated areas.
It’s really a wonderful thing this organization chose our airport, he said.
The airport’s runway is 7,400 feet long. The modern tower went up 2010. The airport has plenty of apron space, where planes can be loaded and checked before flights. The airport sits on 1,550 acres.
We have so much room; it’s not impacting the normal operations of the airport, Grow said.
As many Florida roads remain congested with traffic, planes can deliver supplies and avoid those problems, Grow said. In addition, smaller planes don’t need the runway length larger planes do.
Ocala’s airport, with its proximity to the rest of the state, major thoroughfares and because of the city’s investment in (the airport’s) infrastructure, is what made the airport a logical choice, Grow said.
Crossroads Alliance works with Florida’s Emergency Support Function and area non-profit organizations in the areas impacted to help get supplies and services to where they are needed.
On Friday, Feed the Children provided the food. Bryan Morgan of the alliance organized the pilots, food deliveries to their planes, and destinations out of the Ocala airport.
David Bowers, a 58-year-old Atlanta area resident, is a Delta Airlines pilot who typically flies a technologically advanced Airbus 320 with 180 passengers. On Friday, he was piloting his Cessna 182 out of Ocala, carrying about 500 pounds of macaroni and cheese, cans of chicken soup and packaged fruit.
He weighed each paper bag of groceries on a bathroom scale before he put them into his plane. He stuffed nine cases of water onto and in between rear seats. In 15 minutes of loading, Bowers ran out of room before he hit his 550 pound weight limit. He flew to Homestead. He was scheduled to fly for Delta on Saturday and said he was hoping to hitch a ride with another airline back to his plane so he could do another AERObridge run.
As to why he was helping, he said, Because I’m a Christian and a neighbor. I want to help those people who need help.
Sheltair said in a prepared statement that it was a privilege to play a role in the relief effort. Sheltair is a privately-owned aviation development company that operates 17 fixed-base operations.
These AERObridge missions are demonstrating what general aviation is capable of following disasters that threaten our communities, said Sheltair Chief Operating Officer Warren Kroeppel in the news release. We are providing every and all resources to support that function with special honors to our employees who are, themselves, recovering from Irma.
SHELTAIR AVIATION SUPPORTS AEROBRIDGE HURRICANE RECOVERY MISSIONS AT OCALA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (OCF)
Sheltair Aviation is assisting Ocala International Airport Director Matthew Grow in supporting recovery missions with Aerobridge, a global network of general aviation pilots who fly relief missions to areas devastated by natural disasters, and are now focused on helping Florida recover from Hurricane Irma.
Grow stated that seven aircraft have been deployed by Aerobridge to make round robin†shuttle flights between Lakeland, Jacksonville, and Ft. Meyers, delivering urgent supplies. He explained, Our roads remain highly congested but these aircraft can fly supplies in very quickly. Their efforts ensure that general aviation continues its historic role of getting what is desperately needed to where it is needed in the shortest possible time.
Sheltair is working directly with Aerobridge and Ocala International Airport to ensure there is ground support that allows the shuttle flights to operate at maximum efficiency.
Sheltair’s Chief Operating Officer, Warren Kroeppel, observed, These Aerobridge missions are demonstrating what general aviation is capable of following disasters that threaten our communities. We are providing every and all resources to support that function with special honors to our employees who are, themselves, recovering from Irma.
Kroeppel noted, We weren’t there during the Berlin Airlift when American and British air forces kept the people of Berlin alive during the Soviet blockade at the height of the Cold War but this Aerobridge effort allows us to walk in the shoes of the men and women who did that job.
Mr. Grow reminded, This type of volunteer `air force’ highlights the considerable and often overlooked benefit of thousands of General Aviation airports around the country. The relatively small aircraft flying these missions can carry between 500 and 1000 pounds of priority supplies, and can fly into these GA airports much easier and with more efficiency than the larger air carrier type aircraft that need considerable logistics support.
Both Grow and Kroeppel had high praise for Aerobridge president Marianne Stevenson who stated, She has demonstrated true leadership under fire by managing a network of extraordinary pilots committed to using their aircraft for the common good.

LI AIR NATIONAL GUARD, AVIATION FIRM AID IRMA RESCUE EFFORTS
Sheltair Aviation evacuated about 60 pets from Florida on Sept. 8, 2017, ahead of Hurricane Irma. One dog was injured in flight and taken to a veterinarian upon arrival in Westhampton Beach, officials said. Photo Credit: Laura Foscolo
Long Island aviation is staying active in the response to Hurricane Irma and another hurricane, José, now threatening the Caribbean.
Elements of the New York Air National Guard’s 106th Rescue Wing, based in Westhampton Beach, are bound for Homestead Air Force Base south of Miami to continue rescue operations it started in Puerto Rico, a spokesman emailed Sunday.
Working alongside units from Puerto Rico and Kentucky, the 106th participated in 64 helicopter rescues in Puerto Rico and the airlift of 1,268 Americans from the island of St. Maarten to San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The 106th contributed HC-130 Hercules prop airplanes, three HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopters with hoist capability, and three Zodiac boats for water operations, along with 124 volunteer airmen.
Photographs on the unit’s social media pages showed evacuees — many of them cheerful — packing the belly of a cargo plane along with camouflage-clad airmen.
The rescue represents the second time in two weeks the 106th has been deployed to aid storm victims. From Aug. 27 to Sept. 1, the unit rescued 546 people in the Houston area after Hurricane Harvey struck.
Skeleton staff for Sheltair Aviation, an aviation developer with bases in Farmingdale, Westhampton Beach and 11 locations in Florida, were working to prepare facilities for recovery operations as soon as weather permits, Warren Kroeppel of Huntington, the company’s chief operating officer, said Sunday from Fort Lauderdale.
Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport could open to airline traffic as early as Monday night, he said, citing a conference call with airport officials.
In the days leading up to Irma’s landfall in Florida, about 500 to 600 aircraft had flown out of Sheltair’s bases there, Kroeppel said. A corporate jet flew into Westhampton Beach with roughly 60 dogs and cats evacuated from the Miami area, he said. Sheltair’s general manager in Westhampton Beach, Laura Foscolo, took one urgent case to a veterinarian — Amelia, a dog that was injured in flight when it got out of its traveling crate, Kroeppel said.
Animal Haven and Bideawee shelters will be placing the animals for adoption, Foscola wrote in an email.
Sheltair also fueled one of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s hurricane hunter†planes — a Lockheed WP-3D Orion that flies into the storm to collect meteorological data — at its base in Lakeland, Florida.
Kroeppel was hunkered down in a co-worker’s Fort Lauderdale home about five miles from the Atlantic Ocean, he said. Authorities had imposed a curfew and no vehicles were permitted on roads until 10 a.m. Monday, he said.
He described his temporary office — a concrete home with a concrete roof and storm shutters over the window — as being like a bunker.
SHELTAIR AVIATION PROVIDING NOAA’S HURRICANE HUNTERS GROUND SUPPORT IN THE HOURS LEADING UP TO IRMA’S ARRIVAL
As part of its ongoing efforts to support government, military and general aviation operations prior to the arrival of Hurricane Irma, Sheltair, one of the nation’s leading privately-owned aviation development companies, is assisting hurricane hunter†aircraft from its Lakeland, Florida facility. Through Saturday, September 9th, it provided refueling services to aircraft belonging to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
Sheltair is also readying its post hurricane recovery plan that will assist aircraft inbound seeking to bring assistance to various part of Florida damaged from this catastrophic storm. Sheltair earlier activated its hurricane response plan with the expectation that the storm track may require the suspension of their FBO services at Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood (FLL) Pompano Beach, (PMP), Orlando (ORL), Daytona Beach (DAB), Jacksonville (JAX), Tampa (TPA) and Savannah (SAV).
“During prior severe weather Sheltair has been proud of its role in providing support to aviation assets brought in to aid in recovery efforts. We recognize that the help required from distance parts of the country may be unprecedented and priority items must come in by air. We have consistently planned for disasters of this scope and we are ready to assist those arriving aircraft when Irma pulls away, explained Sheltair’s Chairman, CEO and founder Jerry Holland.
Sheltair operates 17 premier FBOs and manages over three million square feet of aviation related properties throughout Florida, Georgia and New York. As part of its emergency response plan, all non-essential Sheltair personnel are being sent home to be with their evacuated families.
All updates regarding the status of suspended operations will be distributed from Sheltair’s New York office where emergency communication links have been established with their properties within the projected storm corridor. Updates will be posted on the company’s web site, www.sheltairaviation.com and social media platforms.
About Sheltair
Sheltair, a privately-owned aviation development company, operates 17 premier FBOs and manages over three million square feet of aviation related properties throughout Florida, Georgia and New York. Sheltair services include fueling, ground handling, hangar and office leasing and turn-key design/build of aviation properties.
SHELTAIR CEO HONORED IN FLORIDA BUSINESS AVIATION HALL OF FAME
Sheltair’s chairman, CEO, owner and founder Gerald M. Holland was inducted into the Florida Aviation Business Association Entrepreneurial Excellence Hall of Fame on June 20.
The hall of fame honors those who make significant contributions to Florida’s bizav industry. The inductees have drawn on their professionalism and integrity to ensure the aviation industry will flourish, inspiring others to make aviation their passion. As the head of Sheltair, Holland has done just that.
It began in 1963 when Holland, after serving in the military, founded a Fort Lauderdale-based real estate development and construction firm: Holland Builders, Inc. The company enjoyed continued growth over the following 25 years. Under Holland’s leadership, the firm—and its subsequent subsidiary companies and related affiliates—moved into the aviation industry with the formation of Sheltair Aviation in 1988.
Beginning with the construction of two FBOs, Sheltair has grown to become one of the nation’s leading providers of aviation-related services with 17 award-winning FBOs along the Eastern U.S. Seaboard (11 in Florida), aviation property management and leasing, office and hangar construction, and more. Sheltair’s development projects across nearly 30 years of business have created numerous opportunities to—and a growing passion for—serving the general aviation market.
With these developments, Holland and Sheltair invest in the airport communities they serve. The FBOs attract general aviation customers who support the economic vitality of the airports and communities in which they preside. Holland and his team continue to expand these services into markets throughout the U.S. through leasing and development opportunities, as well as FBO acquisition.
Holland developed Sheltair into one of general aviation’s largest independently-owned businesses—a statement few can still use today. This spirit of independence drives the company to provide legendary services and customer care. The motto, Diversified in services. Unified to serve, is not just Sheltair’s slogan, but a real representation of the company’s brand and commitment to excellence.
Holland attributes Sheltair’s success to its people, understanding that it’s truly the people, not just the commodity, that makes the difference. For this reason, Sheltair strongly believes in the importance of providing educational opportunities to the people who support our industry. The company supports continued education and professional development opportunities with scholarships through the Experimental Aircraft Association and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Human ingenuity has always been the catalyst for growth in the aviation industry, said Holland, and in today’s technology-driven world, this can only come from motivated, passionate and highly-skilled people.
Holland remains active in the aviation business — headquartered in Fort Lauderdale — serving as a mentor to the leadership team at Sheltair and providing strategic direction for its growth initiatives.
SHELTAIR TEAM TRAVELS TO GENEVA FOR EBACE 2017
GENEVA, SWITZERLAND / May 22, 2017 / GENERAL AVIATION NEWS – Representatives of the Sheltair team join Avfuel Corporation in booth G88 at EBACE 2017 in Geneva, Switzerland, to network with international operators, educating them on Sheltair’s array of services across its 17 FBO locations.
Most notably, six of the 17 locations (SAV, TPA, ORL, FLL, FRG and FOK) are undergoing hangar developments. The projects are now pre-leasing so operators can secure a priority space immediately.
The Sheltair SAV team in Savannah, Ga., commemorated the completion of its newest hangar with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 29—this hangar is already full and plans are underway for a third hangar, expected to be completed in the fall of 2018.
At its newest location in Tampa, Fla., Sheltair (TPA) began construction on a 32,000 square foot hangar, expected to be completed this fall.
Sheltair ORL in Orlando, Fla., finished Phase I of its development project this month, featuring two new hangar facilities totaling 22,600 square feet of hangar space and 3,600 square feet of office space, including state-of-the-art administrative support. Hangars are also under construction at Sheltair FRG in Farmingdale, N.Y.”just a 12 minute helicopter ride to the heart of Manhattan. Sheltair FRG is a prime option for operators wanting to avoid taxiway delays and the congestion experienced at other New York metropolitan airports. The construction of two hangars totaling 70,000 square feet is expected to be completed this winter; pre-leasing is now available.
Sheltair’s Westhampton Beach, N.Y., location (FOK) is also constructing hangars. Operators flying in for a summer in the Hamptons can’t miss the sight of a new, 25,000 square foot hangar complex taking shape at the FBO. Sheltair FOK offers its operators flexible leasing terms for seasonal and yearly hangar space.
In addition to its property developments, Sheltair also offers international operators the benefit of duty free shopping at three of its New York metro airports: Westhampton Beach (FOK), Farmingdale (FRG) and New York (JFK). Sheltair JFK also offers exterior aircraft cleaning while Sheltair LGA (La Guardia) now offers biometrics for U.S. clearance.

SHELTAIR’S NEWEST MULTIMILLION DOLLAR HANGAR PROJECT TO BE OPENED AT ORLANDO EXECUTIVE AIRPORT
(Orlando, Florida) – On Thursday, May 18th at 12:00 p.m., Sheltair will cut the ribbon at its grand opening ceremony for its latest newly completed hangar facility at Orlando Executive Airport (ORL) as part of the company’s ongoing strategy to build hangars that not only meet current demand but anticipate the future needs of its customers and the nation’s general aviation community.
Sheltair ORL Hangar Opening 2Sheltair ORL New Hangar Ribbon Cutting May18 Todd Anderson, Sheltair Senior Vice President for Real Estate and Development, stated, This milestone represents the first phase of our expansion plans for our Orlando location, allowing us to open two (2) hangars totaling 22,600 square foot hangar with 3,600 square feet of office space that includes state-of-the-art administrative support. This $5.5 million Phase I also includes a new and spacious parking lot that will accommodate the not only the new growing ground transportation needs of our customers but provide adequate parking for the upcoming Phase II expansion plans.
The Sheltair executive explained that Phase II, which is scheduled to start by July 1, 2017 and completed within a year, will see Sheltair build a new $8 million, 4-story executive terminal that dramatically expands on amenities offered its visitors, including a new FBO executive terminal, class A office space and a restaurant for passengers, crew and the general public.
Anderson continued, Our $13.5 million of new capital investment is a strong and visionary recognition that Orlando Executive Airport will continue to expand, increase in operations and play a vital role within the corporate general aviation sector due to its location being only three miles from the business and financial center of Central Florida. Additionally, Orlando Executive is the preferred airport for many traveling to Orlando’s downtown businesses, sports, performing arts and entertainment venues , Winter Park, University of Central Florida and its research and business parks. The need is obvious and the potential for long term steady growth is considerable.
Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) Vice Chairman, Dean Asher stated, Sheltair’s investment is a multimillion dollar vote of confidence in this airport and the Orlando metropolitan region. 2017 HURRICANE AWARENESS TOUR LANDS AT SHELTAIR – LONG ISLAND MACARTHUR AIRPORT (ISP)
Ronkonkoma- Islip, NY (ISP) – Sheltair, the leading FBO at Long Island MacArthur Airport, Islip, New York, welcomed a four engine turboprop P3 Orion, a Gulfstream IV, and a massive USAF Reserve WC-130J hurricane hunter aircraft on Monday, May 8th at 9:00 a.m. as the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) continues its hurricane awareness tour to parts of the nation vulnerable to severe weather systems.
Patricia Junge, Sheltair’s Islip General Manager stated, ‘Those of us who worked through Superstorm Sandy know full well how damaging a hurricane can be. We also know how aviation became a lifeline for a region of 2.7 million who live on the largest populated island in the United States. Sheltair played an integral role in keeping that air bridge open and NOAA’s visit during Hurricane Awareness Week underscores the need for everyone to be prepared for the next one.
Sheltair is providing security and support staff that will allow the flight crews to welcome the visiting public to the airport ramp to view their aircraft and informational displays. The FBO is also opening its conference room for an exhibition severe weather preparation as well as accommodating ground display trailers that support the message offered by NOAA’s hurricane trackers. Information will be available from the American Red Cross, state and local government emergency responders, insurance companies and the Federal Alliance for Safe Homes (FLASH).
A NOAA spokesman stated, It only takes one storm to change your life and community. Hurricanes are among nature’s most powerful and destructive phenomena. If you live in an area prone to these storms, you need to be prepared. Even areas well away from the coastline can be threatened by dangerous flooding, destructive winds and tornadoes from these storms. The National Hurricane Center issue watches, warnings, forecasts, and analyses of hazardous tropical weather.

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT – CLAYTON LACKEY
(May 4, 2017) Year after year, Tampa International Airport enjoys the community love and media attention that comes from being ranked among the top three U.S. airports by Condé Nast, TripAdvisor, CNN, Airports Council International and other publications and surveys.
Yet just across the runway, Sheltair has quietly enjoyed similar recognition for years in the small, particular world of general aviation. Most recently, Sheltair’s Tampa operations were ranked the No. 1 FBO in the U.S. in a worldwide survey by Aviation International News.
For years and years, we’ve been up there in the top 10, then we were in the top six, then number two, said Clayton Lackey, General Manager of Sheltair TPA. For us to finally hit No. 1 is a big deal and speaks a lot about our facility, our staff and our reputation we work hard to gain.
The reputation goes way back, well before Sheltair purchased Tampa International Jet Center, retaining all of its longtime staff. Lackey himself began working at the facility just before the 2009 Super Bowl, which was a hectic time as most sporting events are for FBOs. He has since become a pro at handling big events and high volumes, including the Republican National Convention and the more than 400 general aviation planes that recently flew in for the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.
That was bigger than anything we’d ever had here, Lackey said. We pulled lots of people in from the other Sheltair locations to help, building a team of nearly 50 people to help.
Lackey loves working in general aviation and feels grateful to have come across it as a career several years ago.
Originally from Kankakee, Illinois, Lackey went to a small college on a full-ride music scholarship. He played drums and piano with hopes of becoming a studio musician after graduating.
But partway through his degree, he left school and returned home to help his father run the family cleaning business. After the family sold the business, Lackey found himself in his early 20s, not knowing what to do next.
Lackey studied finance and graduated from the University of Illinois with an economics degree, working for a small general aviation facility and getting married in the meantime.
After graduating, Lackey and his wife Kristin decided to move to Florida on a whim. They were tired of the cold weather and Kristin had an opportunity to work as a retail manager at The Shops at Wiregrass. The couple moved to New Tampa and Lackey began hunting for jobs. He finally got hired, with his experience working for an FBO, at Tampa International Jet Center, towing and fueling jets.
At the time, I didn’t realize the quality of operation I was getting into, Lackey said.
He has since seen the facility grow over the years, culminating in the sale to Sheltair a couple years ago, and has worked his way up to General Manager, overseeing a top-notch staff that caters to special clients such as high-profile business moguls and celebrities, as well as the many avionics and jet sales brokers, mechanics and others who lease space at Sheltair.
This is a unique side of aviation that not many get to see, Lackey said. I love coming to work every day and I feel fortunate to work alongside such a great international airport and its staff, as well as my own.
In his free time away from the office, Lackey enjoys spending time with his wife and three small daughters: 6-year-old Addison, 4-year-old Emerson and 2-year-old Mackenzie. He’s an avid fan of all Chicago sports teams, including the Cubs and the Bulls, and loves to play golf.
He rarely has time to play music anymore but is starting to be surrounded by it through his daughters. The oldest recently picked up the violin and his very entertaining 2-year-old seems destined to be a singer.
SHELTAIR DAB PREPARES FOR NASCAR FANS
Sheltair’s Daytona International Airport FBO prepares to welcome NASCAR fans
A welcome sign of winter: the checkered flag
If there is one good thing to say about winter, it’s the return of NASCAR action at Daytona Speedway in Florida, which is why Sheltair’s FBO facility at Daytona International Airport (DAB) is preparing to welcome a grateful audience that seeks the roar of horsepower and the smell of competition tires on asphalt.
Come January 28th and 29th, NASCAR is offering fans the first of the season’s competitions: the grueling “Rolex 24” endurance race which is described as “a sunrise to sunset marathon that is merciless on both driver and machine as sleep-starved crews perform mechanical miracles.”
In anticipation of the endurance race, auto race fans from across the country have already begun to book their charter flights so that they may taxi in to Sheltair’s DAB ramp and quickly walk or take a shuttle to the Daytona International Speedway.
Frank Seymour, Sheltair’s Senior Vice President, stated, “Our guests are always pleased to find themselves so close to the speedway and only a short drive away from everything Daytona Beach has to offer. Flight crews give us high marks for our support amenities such as a flight planning and weather rooms, conference rooms, WIFI and complimentary refreshments and, equally important, our ability to service flights during a high traffic event.”
Seymour says the speedway is so close they can hear the sound of high performance race cars from their Sheltair offices at the airport. “There is no mistaking the sound of America’s premier endurance race. Just hearing those engines gets your adrenalin going, but it’s our job to make sure our passengers arrive safely and in style. ”

In addition to Fort Lauderdale, the company has new construction underway in Savannah and Orlando; at Republic and Westhampton on Long Island, N.Y.; and their newest location at Tampa.
Anderson explained, Part of Sheltair’s corporate mission statement is to provide aviation support services, construction and facilities management at such a level that it creates an industry standard of excellence. We also need to project, however, what our clients will need next year, five years out and even a decade from now. We have no intention of getting behind the curve in offering service and facilities that ensure customer satisfaction and Sheltair leadership.
Sheltair representatives will be on hand to welcome Boat Show guests who wish to inspect the new space and determine how they may secure priority positions when the hangars open. For more information visit us at NBAA-BACE Exhibit 2207 or www.sheltairaviation.com

SHELTAIR HAS ACTIVATED ITS HURRICANE RESPONSE PLAN AT AVIATION FACILITIES THREATENED BY MATTHEWâ€
Sheltair, one of the nation’s leading privately-owned aviation development companies, has activated its hurricane response plan in the face of dangerous weather being generated by Hurricane Matthew.
While forecasters can’t predict the exact track of the storm Sheltair officials are anticipating the temporary suspension of their FBO operations at Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood (FLL) Pompano Beach, (PMP), Orlando (ORL), Daytona Beach (DAB), Jacksonville (JAX) and Savannah (SAV) starting Thursday, October 6 and extending through Saturday, October 8.
Sheltair has long recognized not only the potential threat to our airport facilities from severe weather but the need to be capable of resuming operations quickly to support recovery efforts within hours of a storm’s departure, stated Sheltair’s Chairman, CEO and founder Jerry Holland.
Accordingly, our company is well prepared to withstand a storm that may be of historic proportions and to reopen as quickly as possible to support the arrival of FEMA crews, Air National Guard, or any other agencies inbound to offer help, he explained.
Sheltair operates 17 premier FBOs and manages over three million square feet of aviation related properties throughout Florida, Georgia and New York.
At each of the affected Sheltair FBO operations all non-essential personnel have been sent home and updates regarding the status of suspended operations have been sent to the aviation community. The company is also working in close cooperation with appropriate airport authorities to ensure that aircraft, support equipment, and structures are prepared for hurricane force winds.
We know from our experience with Superstorm Sandy in New York when Sheltair assisted Republic Airport in regional recovery efforts that each storm is different and can `attack’ an aviation facility in unexpected ways. We also know the importance of the need to recover from a catastrophic storm in the shortest period of time because airports become even more important during weather emergencies. Our team is ready, noted Warren Kroeppel, Chief Operating Officer.

SHELTAIR’S ROLE AT ISP – ISLIP MACARTHUR
By Mike Potts
Senior Contributing Editor, Pro Pilot
If World War II hadn’t unfolded as it did, the tiny Bayport Aerodrome (23N) might easily have evolved into the primary airport serving the approximately 3 million residents of central Long Island NY for airline and business aviation requirements.
Bayport Aerodrome (23N) could have become Islip (ISP)
Tracing its history to 1910, Bayport featured a single 2740×150 ft grass runway oriented 18/36, much as it does today. Then known as Davis Field, it was typical of many small airfields that grew into major airports as aviation developed across the US.
But in April of 1942, barely 4 months after the Japanese had attacked Pearl Harbor and brought the US into the war, oficials in the Town of Islip NY were in a hurry and Davis Field was not in their plan. They contracted with the federal government to build a multi-runway complex intended for military use on a vacant 1311-acre field with no previous aeronautical heritage, located about 2 miles to the northwest of 23N.
Even with the urgency of war, the bureaucracy still had to function and it was several months before the Civil Aeronautics Board—pre-decessor to the Federal Aviation Administration—approved and funded construction of what would become Islip MacArthur Airport (ISP) under a program called Develop Landing Areas for National Defense (DLAND).
The runways and taxiways at Islip MacArthur Airport look very much as they did when the airport was built during WWII. Today ISP is a prime destination for business jets looking to avoid traffic delays associated with the airports closer to New York City.
Former Islip Town Supervisor Peter Fox Cohalan, who would later become a New York State Supreme Court Justice, recalls construction of ISP going on throughout most of 1943, and the town’s oficial history of the airport says Lockheed Aircraft Corporation built the irst hangar on the field in 1944.
Anecdotal reports have Lockheed military aircraft lying anti-submarine patrols from ISP along the coastlines of New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts, where German U-boats were known to operate. ISP was also used to train paratroopers in anticipation of D-Day and the invasion of Europe.
Named for legendary WWII hero and Medal of Honor recipient General Douglas MacArthur, ISP was well conigured in its initial layout to serve as a regional airport. As initially built, it had a 6000×150 ft asphalt main runway aligned 6–24, with secondary runways of 5036×150 ft aligned 10–28 and another 5186×150 ft and designated 15R–33L. A smaller parallel asphalt runway (15L–33R) is 3212×75 ft and accommodates lighter aircraft. Runway 6–24 was subsequently lengthened to its current 7002 ft size, and both 6–24 and 15R–33L were grooved to improve traction in wet weather.
After WWII ISP reverted to public use
At the close of the war ISP reverted to public use and the Town of Islip began looking for ways to maximize the value of its new aviation asset. An airline terminal was added in 1949 and town oficials launched what would prove to be an ongoing effort to attract and retain airline service at ISP, although airline service didn’t actually begin until regional airlines came into being in 1959. ISP’s greatest success in growing airline service came in 2004 when Southwest Airlines built a new terminal concourse and added 4 new gates to support growing operations. Further expansion in 2006 added another 4 new gates, and for a time ISP boasted scores of daily arrivals and departures.
The recession of 2008–09 saw airline service decline sharply, and by early 2016 ISP was served by only 2 airlines (American and Southwest) with just 12 daily departures and arrivals to destinations including BWI (Baltimore–Washington Intl), MCO (Orlando FL), PBI (Palm Beach FL), TPA (Tampa FL), FLL (Ft Lauderdale FL) and PHL (Philadelphia PA). American serves ISP with de Havilland Dash 8-300 turboprops while Southwest uses its ubiquitous Boeing 737s.
Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter has made airport redevelopment a priority and was proud to announce recently that a new carrier, Elite Airways, will begin service to ISP in June. Elite, based in Portland ME but with maintenance, crew training, sales and marketing in Melbourne FL, will provide service from ISP to MYR (Myrtle Beach SC), MLB (Melbourne FL), and PWM (Portland ME) using Bombardier CRJ 200s and 700s.
Rob Schneider, ISP’s deputy commissioner and dir of ops, says working closely with Angie Carpenter to recruit new airline service is a top priority, but he acknowledges that This airport is a general aviation airport with commercial service, not the other way around.
Improvements are coming
Major improvements are in the works for ISP. A new firehouse is under construction to replace a structure dating to the 1940s, when the airport was built. Plans call for Runway 15R–33L to be extended to 6000 or perhaps even 6500 ft. Going beyond that length would require the airport to acquire additional property, which Schneider says would potentially disrupt the airport’s cordial relationship with its neighbors—a step airport leaders are unlikely to consider.
ISP is located 9.3 nm from the Deer Park VOR on the 101 degree radial, just beyond the limits of the New York Class B airspace. It supports GPS, RNAV, ILS and NDB approaches. For light planning, it is on the New York Sectional Chart and the L-24, L-25 and L-28 low altitude IFR enroute charts. ISP is tower-controlled from 6 am to midnight and features pilot controlled lighting when the tower is closed. A weight-based landing fee schedule is in effect, beginning at $2 per thousand pounds for aircraft up to 12,500 lbs, with charges higher after 11 pm to discourage night operations. To facilitate training operations, which are extensive at ISP, only one landing fee is charged for aircraft performing touch-and-goes. For international arrivals, US Customs is available on the field.
3 FBOS – Hawthorne, Sheltair and Mid Island – serve ISP
FBO services are provided by Hawthorne Global Aviation Services, Sheltair and Mid Island Air Service.
Hawthorne is located on the westside of the field and is housed in a 120,000 sq. ft facility previously occupied by Garrett AirResearch, which had operated it as an engine overhaul facility. The Hawthorne name is comparatively new to ISP, but the business isn’t. It traces its roots to Eastway Aircraft Services which was started in 1985 by the father of current Hawthorne General Manager Rob Sherry. Eastway began its business focusing on light aircraft maintenance, which in the 1990s evolved into aircraft management under the name ExcelAire, kick starting its launch into the private jet charter industry.
The FBO was created in 2007 when the old Garrett facility at ISP became available, primarily to provide terminal facilities, fueling and a maintenance base for the ExcelAire charter operation. However, the business soon began attracting outside customers, and Hawthorne Global Aviation Services, an FBO acquisition and operating company based in Charleston SC, bought ExcelAire—including its Part 135 and Part 145 operating certiicates about 5 years ago. The activity then began operating the full service FBO under the Hawthorne name, with Shell branded fuel. ExcelAire continues to operate under its own name.
Rob Sherry says the synergy between all aspects of ISP’s operations is critical to both his business and the success of the airport, and notes that Hawthorne is now providing ground handling services to Elite Airways CRJs. The new carrier began operations on Jun 17. Hopefully they’ll be successful and that will attract other airlines to ISP, Sherry says. He praises the working relationship that exists between Deputy Commissioner Schneider and the business aviation operations on the field.
Mid Island Air Service has a rich history. Louis Mancuso established Deer Park Airport and Mid Island Air in 1946 as a training facility to teach WWII vets to ly. When real estate prices rocketed in the early 1970s the base was relocated to ISP. Today Mid Island is owned and operated by 2nd and 3rd generation Mancusos. It offers FBO services, charter, air- craft rentals and sales, mx and light training.
Sheltair came to ISP in 2007 when they acquired Long Island Jet Center, located adjacent to the airline terminal on the south side of the field. Since then Sheltair has made signiicant capital investment in property upgrades, and has emerged as the largest FBO operator on the field, with more than 200,000 sq ft of hangar space in multiple hangars and annual fuel sales in the million-gallon range. In addition to its corporate operations, Sheltair ISP is home to 1 helicopter and 2 fixed wing flight schools and is an AvFuel branded distributor.
Unlike many FBO chains, Sheltair is a real estate development and construction irm. It operates 3.5 mil sq ft of aviation real estate at 23 airports in Florida, Georgia and NY. The ISP operation is 1 of 17 Sheltair FBO locations, including 4 others in the region: JFK (Jamaica NY), LGA (Flushing NY), FRG (Farmingdale NY) and FOK (Westhampton Beach NY).
Expanding need for large jet hangar space
A game-changing event happened last year when New York State moved to exempt aircraft transactions from sales tax. Since then the demand for hangar space has grown signiicantly.
In order to keep up with the demand, Sheltair is developing a 25acre site on the west side of ISP that will include 108,000 sq ft of new corporate hangars consisting of 4 structures, each capable of holding 2 Gulfstream 650s or Bombardier Global 7000s. In addition Sheltair is renovating one of its existing hangars with taller and wider doors to accommodate the larger Gulfstream-series aircraft. The growth we are seeing is clearly in the large cabin corporate aircraft market, says Sheltair ISP General Manager Patricia Junge. Years ago hangars would hold 10 Learjets or Citations, says Sheltair VP of Business Development & Special Projects Bill McShane. Now we build them to hold 2 large cabin bizjets because that’s today’s market.
Hawthorne is adding a new 30,000 sq ft facility adjacent to its current location that will be capable of housing a BBJ or an Airbus ACJ.
Lighter trafic at ISP means faster in and out than TEB, HPN
While the 3 FBOs at ISP compete fiercely for corporate customers on the field, they are also engaged in a larger battle pitting ISP against the closer-in airports, speciically TEB (Teterboro) and HPN (White Plains) for New York City-bound business travelers.
Rob Sherry states, If you fly into ISP at the right time of the day it’s a 55 minute drive west into Manhattan and a 35 min drive east to the Hamptons. The extra driving time seems insigniicant compared to the expected delays you’ll experience at surrounding airports. At ISP you’ll have no delays, lower fuel cost and our hangar space costs half what it does at TEB.
And while ISP is experiencing renewed growth with expanding corporate light activity driven by the proliferation of large cabin corporate jets along with rejuvenated airline operations, less than 2 miles away at N23, the 2800-ft grass runway sees only an occasional operation and life remains much as it was in the 1940s when ISP was first conceived.
THE HONOR OF HOSTING AN AMERICAN LEGEND ONE LAST TIME
By Karen Kroeppel, Director of Sales and Marketing, Sheltair Aviation
Sheltair finds itself mourning the passing of Tuskegee Airman legend Dr. Roscoe Brown, but proud of the fact that we were able to host the last public appearance of this extraordinary American and renowned pilot during this past Memorial Day weekend at the annual Jones Beach, Long Island, N.Y. air show.
Dr. Brown passed away over the Fourth of July weekend at the age of 94, having led an extraordinary life. For those unfamiliar with his legacy, not only did he confront the Luftwaffe in the air during World War II and American segregation on the ground, he accomplished something very few fighter pilots ever achieved during that conflict.
Flying a piston powered P-51 Mustang, he downed an advanced German jet fighter, the Me262, using skill and an understanding of flight physics to nail the enemy with deflection shooting. It was a story he always enjoyed retelling to other pilots for only they would fully understand how he had to create an aerial ambush in three dimensions, given the jet’s far superior speed and firepower.
It was a remarkable feat then and remains a permanent testament to his skill as an American military aviator at a time when these Nazi jets were wreaking havoc on our B-17 and B-24 bombers during the closing years of the war. Each Me262 destroyed meant one more Allied bomber crew saved from its savage onslaught.
Dr. Brown’s biography also includes serving as a former commander of the 100th Fighter Squadron of the 332nd Fighter Group. But one suspects he was most proud of his role as the president of Bronx Community College where he became one of New York’s most sought after community leaders who advocated on behalf of a strong and vibrant educational system. Thoughtful, articulate and insightful, he was an advisor to key business and political leaders alike.
During this past Memorial Day weekend, Sheltair was a proud corporate sponsor of the Bethpage Federal Credit Union Airshow at Jones Beach, some 30 miles east of Manhattan. This year the Blue Angels were the headliners, but it was Dr. Brown’s invitation to our hospitality tent that stole the show as he was introduced by air show announcer Rob Reider. Hundreds of thousands of people responded to the announcement and, while obviously frail, Dr. Brown doffed his cap in recognition of the honor and broke into a quiet smile.
We were honored to have him with us for he was the real deal and a genuine American hero who made our country better and our democracy free of a tyranny so terrible it still shocks us 75 years later. Fair skies, Dr. Brown. You have left us but your legacy is indelible.
SHELTAIR ACQUIRES AWARD WINNING FBO AT TAMPA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (TPA)
As part of its ongoing corporate strategy of meeting the needs of an aviation community insisting on value plus performance, Sheltair has acquired Tampa International Jet Center at Tampa International Airport (TPA), Florida, considered one of the nation’s leading FBOs.
Sheltair’s Chairman and CEO, Jerry Holland, stated, We are pleased to announce that we acquired Tampa International Jet Center, an award winning operation with a highly commended customer service staff. We are genuinely excited about bringing their expertise and reputation into the Sheltair family. Strategically, this location and operation fits perfectly into our growth model and compliments our network of FBOs.
Tampa International Jet Center has consistently ranked at the top among pilots and aircraft owners asked for their opinions in national surveys at an airport that has also won top honors serving the aviation community.
Sheltair’s experience and high level of customer service is a wonderful fit for Tampa International Airport and the Jet Center, which continues to grow to meet the transportation demands of our region, TPA Vice President of Marketing Chris Minner said. We look forward to working together as the business and leisure travelers’ gateway to the west coast of Florida.
Sheltair’s acquisition of Tampa’s Jet Center is enhanced by the retention of existing staff and their reputation for excellence and also provides the following for our customers:
- Four hangars totaling 108,000 SF of hangar space with 19,000 SF of office space
- 14,000 SF of terminal/FBO space
- 12,000 SF canopy for covered aircraft parking
- Over 10 acres of apron and aircraft parking space
Sheltair to invest in aviation infrastructure
Mr. Holland also announced that Sheltair has immediate plans to build a new 32,000 SF hangar and executive offices at TPA with a projected investment of $5.5 million. This project will feature the latest advances in design and construction and include high tail doors to accommodate new large cabin business aircraft with an anticipated completion in the second quarter of 2017.
He stated, These additional plans for future development are a recognition by Sheltair that an extraordinary staff and a prime location is only part of the formula in successfully anticipating the needs of Tampa’s vibrant business aviation market. We have a responsibility to create the custom build-to-suit facilities that many aircraft owners now require.
Sheltair vision
As part of Sheltair’s strategic planning, the company has long recognized that Tampa has become a key base of operations for the international business market with a U.S. Customs office adjacent to its new FBO acquisition. It is also one of only two airports in the United States to regularly host scheduled charters to four Cuban cities: Camagüey, Havana, HolguÃn and Santa Clara.

Todd Anderson, Sheltair Senior Vice President for Real Estate and Development, stated, Many of our Savannah customers are especially pleased to hear that this new hangar includes a high tail door to accommodate the latest fleet of G-650s. Sheltair’s decision to move ahead with construction reflects its appreciation that there is confirmed demand for hangar space that can accommodate the latest generation of large cabin class general aviation jet aircraft and the growth of Savannah as a compelling business destinationâ€.
Gregory B. Kelly, Executive Director of the Savannah Airport Commission, stated, We are pleased that Sheltair has made the decision to expand their facilities here at the Savannah Hilton Head International Airport. Their willingness to invest in our market at this time is a strong indicator that general aviation activities are increasing here which is a good thing for our airport and the region we serve. Sheltair has been a great partner of ours over the past 10 years and we appreciate the opportunity to continue to be part of its growth and success at this location.

B-17 FLYING FORTRESS AT SHELTAIR SAVANNAH
A piece of history is sitting at the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport.
The Mighty 8th Air Force Museum welcomed a B-17 Flying Fortress from Texas, Monday afternoon. The World War II plane is one of only 12 still flying. This particular B-17 is considered one of the most historically accurate restorations of the 70-year-old plane. It serves now as a flying museum for all to see.
“Our goal is to educate the next generation, the young generation, as to what happened in World War II and what it takes to stay a liberated country,” said Ole Nygren, Commemorative Air Force.
The public is invited to visit Sheltair Aviation from now until Thursday, to tour and meet the crews of an iconic World War II B-17 bomber.
Attendees who want the ultimate warbird experience can make a reservation for a 30-minute flights on the Flying Fortress.
CHEERS AND TEARS AS FLORIDA NATIONAL GUARD TROOPS START WAR ON TERROR MISSION
A deployment ceremony was held on Sunday, April 10, at the Sheltair Hangar at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport for members of the Florida Army National Guard’s 1st Battalion 124th Infantry Regiment as they prepare to deploy for the Horn of Africa. (Maria Lorenzino)
After a farewell ceremony filled with tears and whispered prayers, about 600 members of the Florida National Guard flew out of Fort Lauderdale on Sunday bound for a year-long military mission that will take them to the Horn of Africa, a part of the continuing U.S. war on terrorism.
“This is the second time around for me, so I feel a little more prepared,” said Staff Sgt. Edward Roseman, 32, of Coconut Creek, who deployed to Iraq and Kuwait with the 1st Battalion, 124th Infantry Regiment in 2010.
The hangar at Sheltair Aviation, at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, was jammed with thousands of relatives and friends there to see the fatigue-clad soldiers off, including a pregnant Kelly Roseman and the couple’s two children, Logan, 3, and Presley, 1.
“This is the big difference for me,” said Roseman, a Florida Highway Patrol trooper in civilian life. “I didn’t have this family the last time.”
This time, Roseman and the 1st Battalion will head to Camp Lemonnier in Djibouti, north of Somalia, where the unit will replace the Orlando-based 2nd Battalion of the 124th Infantry in protecting the headquarters of the Combined Joint Task Force.
In addressing the assembled troops, Maj. Gen. Michael A. Calhoun, Florida’s Adjutant General, said the mission marked the third major deployment for the South Florida-based 1st Battalion, nicknamed the “Hurricanes,” since the terror attack of 9-11.
“This brigade has the largest global footprint of any other National Guard infantry brigade in the country, with assets deployed throughout Central America, in Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador,” said Calhoun, “… and now a critical back-to-back rotation on the African continent.”
The 124th Infantry dodged sniper fire and roadside bombs in the streets of Ramadi, Iraq, in 2003 and escorted truck convoys between Kuwait and Iraq in 2010. Its Horn of Africa assignment is also considered a combat mission, although the risks are different, said Lt. Col. Julio Acosta, battalion commander.
Joe Fitzpatrick, a retired Broward Sheriff’s Office deputy on hand to see off his 25-year-old son, Spc. Joe Fitzpatrick Jr., was well aware of the dangers. “In this day and age of terrorism, military bases are always a target,” said Fitzpatrick, who lives in Pompano Beach.
Jen Murphy, 24, a first-grade teacher and the younger Fitzpatrick’s girlfriend, said, “Of course I’m going to miss him. But I’m very proud of him. I just say, ‘Keep the faith.'”
Also getting a final hug from his family was Pfc. Charles Green, 20, of Wellington, a Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps graduate of Seminole Ridge High School who has wanted to serve in the military since he was four.
“He is excited because this is what he always wanted to do,” said Laura Green of her son. “Now he has a job to do. He’ll do it safely and then get back to home to us.”
Also departing was Spc. Leo Willis, 29, who works at the airport and lives in Hallandale Beach.
“He’s OK with going, I’m not,” said a smiling Chrystal Willis, who had her hands full with the couple’s three children, ages 7, 4 and 2 weeks. “He’s the one who takes care of everything, so we are going to miss him. Fortunately, his mom and my mom are nearby.”
The battalion will spent several weeks training at Fort Bliss, Texas, before heading to East Africa in what is now known as Operation Freedom’s Sentinel, the successor to Operation Enduring Freedom.

SHELTAIR AWARDS CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING CONTRACTS FOR THEIR REPUBLIC AIRPORT PROJECT
Sheltair Aviation has selected BDG Construction and AECOM to manage the design and build their multimillion dollar new hangar construction project that will break ground early this fall at Republic Airport, East Farmingdale, New York, some 35 miles east of Manhattan.
Reviewed and approved by state transportation officials and reflecting the pro-business policies of New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo, Sheltair intends to build as much as 210,000 square feet of hangar space to accommodate the latest large corporate jets whose fuel efficient designs and overall size require higher and wider facilities. The FBO currently operates a 66,000 square foot facility that, while thoroughly modernized, was originally built during World War II for the manufacturing of P-47 Thunderbolts.
We are delighted to be able to partner with two extremely reputable and established leaders in their respective fields, stated Todd Anderson, Sheltair Senior Vice President for Real Estate and Development. AECOM is an internationally recognized expert in the field of infrastructure engineering, and BDG Construction, based on Long Island, has built a broad spectrum of commercial and aviation space throughout the New York metropolitan region, perhaps one of the most challenging places in the nation to break ground. We know we have a winning team and we are looking forward to starting construction soon.
Warren Kroeppel, Sheltair’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) reminded, This aviation construction project is a significant financial commitment by Sheltair that reflects our confidence in Governor Cuomo’s decision to make New York far more business friendly and his commitment to specifically assist general aviation by approving a number of tax exemptions for this sector of the economy.
Anderson further noted, This project will enable Sheltair to offer its clients brand new 21st century, state-of-the-art facilities that will able to best meet the needs of current and future general aviation aircraft. It also underscores the role of Republic Airport as an efficient and convenient New York destination for corporate America. Our recently signed contracts with BDG Construction and AECOM are proof positive of our faith in the future of our leadership role in New York.
BDG Construction Vice President Brad Blumenfeld stated, We are delighted to have been selected to be part of the Sheltair team. Having built many technically complex facilities elsewhere in New York we know this is an exacting assignment requiring close attention to detail, strict adherence to regulations and tight deadlines. It’s great to see facilities like this going up in the region, it’s a sign that the economy is has legs.
“AECOM is proud to be the designer as part of this powerful team of Sheltair and BDG Construction whose combined efforts will significantly strengthen the ability of Republic Airport to welcome a new generation of corporate jets to Long Island, said AECOM’s Jennifer Rimmer, Director of Strategic Initiatives and Long Island lead. Their arrival will create new business opportunities that will further strengthen this dynamic market.”

NEWLY RENOVATED GENERAL AVIATION FEDERAL INSPECTION STATION OFFICIALLY OPENS AT SHELTAIR’S FORT LAUDERDALE-HOLLYWOOD INTERNATIONAL FBO COMPLEX
Opening ceremonies for the nearly $2 million renovation of the 10,000 square foot general aviation U.S. Customs entryway to the United States at Broward County’s Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, will be held on Thursday, February 11th at 4:00 p.m.. Attending will be officials from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the Broward County Aviation Department, Sheltair, elected officials and many of the region’s business leaders.
The original facility constructed in 1988, has been totally modernized to meet the demands of today’s international general aviation traveler arriving at Broward County’s Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. It includes a new ramp access location, expanded processing areas, state-of-the-art security technology and an improved interior layout to allow for an efficient flow of passenger traffic. Its ribbon cutting comes not a moment too soon as last year the airport welcomed 53,754 general aviation passengers and crew and over 13,000 aircraft requiring Customs clearance.
Sheltair began closely coordinating plans for renovation with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Broward County Aviation Department (BCAD) several years prior to the new facility’s renovation. It also teamed with Singer Architects to facilitate the design and GSD Contracting, LLC for the construction of the project.
Sheltair’s Chairman, CEO and founder Jerry Holland stated, This is an extraordinary example of how a public–private partnership can benefit the general aviation community, the regional economy and the reputation of FLL as a passenger friendly destination. Credit should be given to our colleagues at the Broward County Aviation Department and CBP for their leadership and cooperation as we cut the ribbon to open this installation.
As the primary agency charged with the safeguarding of our nation’s Borders, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, is very pleased to be inaugurating this wonderful new facility to better serve the general aviation community at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, commented Jorge L. Roig, Port Director, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport & Port Everglades, Miami Field Office of Customs and Border Protection.
Broward County Aviation Director Kent George said, To fulfill its potential as an economic gateway for our region Broward County’s Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport will continue to work with its partners to ensure it can meet current and future needs of the aviation community. This ribbon cutting reflects that commitment and we are pleased by the speed, efficiency and professionalism that allowed this project to be completed on time and on budget.

OCALA RECEIVES $2M FDOT GRANT FOR NEW AIRPORT TERMINAL
OCALA RECEIVES $2M FDOT GRANT FOR NEW AIRPORT TERMINAL
OCALA, Fla. — The Ocala city council accepted the first half of a $2 million grant to build a new aviation terminal at Ocala’s International Airport.
As part of the project, the city will match the $2 million to build a 25-thousand sq. ft terminal that will bring airport services together under one roof.
Martin Guerra is one of the flight instructors at Ocala Aviation and says a new terminal at OCF comes at a time when the industry is booming.
“The aviation industry for us, in the U.S. and internationally is growing.”
Proof, he says, is at the flight school – which markets themselves to international students.
“We have students waiting down in Ecuador and Colombia to come in,” he explains, “waiting for some of the students here to finish because we don’t have the needs to accommodate them.”
As part of the project, Ocala Aviation will move to the current hangar occupied by Sheltair – the airport’s fixed base operator.
“Everything comes down to space,” Guerra says. “With more space we can accommodate more students.”
In addition to putting more pilots in the cockpit, some say a new airport terminal will help put Ocala International Airport on the map.
“The majority of the visiting people coming to Ocala have to come through a front door somewhere on the airport,” OCF director Matt Grow explains.
Grow has been working for the past 10 years on getting the funding to build the new terminal that will centralize the airport’s services and be the first impression of those flying to the city.
This terminal will be the centerpiece…their first impression of Ocala and we want to make sure its a fantastic first impression.”
He says the project will allow the airport to accommodate growing businesses not only on the tarmac but throughout the city.
“We want to be able to accommodate business aviation needs, recreational pilot needs and the flight school is growing.”
Guerra says hopefully make Ocala known for more than just derby winning horses.
“Ocala’s going to be known for good horses but for good flight training internationally.”
Terminal designs will be completed by May 2016, with constructed slated to start in the fall.
SHELTAIR BRINGS ITS A GAME TO LAS VEGAS
Sheltair is bringing New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo to Las Vegas this month.
Well, at least in regulatory spirit.
Following Governor Cuomo signing into law New York State sales-and-use tax exemptions on general aviation transactions the entire business model for aircraft owners has strategically changed for the better. Underscoring these new economic incentives Sheltair will present to the annual NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition in Las Vegas the company’s information campaign entitled New York is cleared for takeoff†featuring the Statue of Liberty as a ramp lineman.
Warren Kroeppel, Sheltair’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), explained, NBAA’s Las Vegas convention brings together top aviation leaders from around the world who are looking for insight and intel on changes in our industry. We can’t think of a better place to detail the regulatory reforms taking place in New York that directly benefit aircraft owners.
In the wake of Governor Cuomo’s actions Sheltair began to clear ground this fall for a new multimillion-dollar FBO hangar complex at Republic Airport (FRG) in East Farmingdale, New York, located some 35 miles east of Manhattan. Sheltair’s new Republic construction calls for as much as 210,000 square feet of hangar space with door heights a minimum of 28 feet to accommodate the latest corporate jets, thereby ensuring that the needs of a robust and vital general aviation community can be met. In addition, , the company is also hard at work improving or expanding their locations across the eastern seaboard including ISP, FOK, SAV, ORL, FLL, PMP, OCF and LAL. Two new additional hangar complexes are now in development and available for pre-leasing, with 150,000 square feet at FLL and 200,000 square feet at FXE.
What happens in Las Vegas needs to be heard industry wide
Kroeppel explained that Sheltair will be a co-exhibitor with Avfuel at Booth C8816 during the NBAA three day event, November 17th through the 19th, to be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Company experts from their property leasing and development departments will be on site to answer questions and provide details about Sheltair’s ability to provide FBO services, construction and management expertise.
Sheltair’s Las Vegas presentation will come on the heels of the company’s FBO efforts that welcomed hundreds of aircraft visiting the legendary Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in Florida while hosting a fundraising gala on behalf of Angel Flight Southeast where pilots provide patients with free air travel to medical facilities they would otherwise not have access to.

BOAT CLEATS AND AIRCRAFT CHOCKS MAKES FOR THE PERFECT MARRIAGE AS SHELTAIR WELCOMES JET SETTING BOATING ENTHUSIASTS VISITING THE FORT LAUDERDALE INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW
The lure of a tall ship and a star to steer her by†is expected to attract boat owners from across the globe to fly into Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) where Sheltair will be welcoming those visiting the world famous Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) being held November 5th through the 9th.
Frank Seymour, Sheltair’s Senior Vice President stated, Sheltair has proudly served as the boat show’s preferred choice of FBO’s for over 25 years, providing jet setting boat owners with the means of easily getting from planeside to portside quickly and efficiently. This year we expect to make active use of our red carpet once again as scores of general aviation aircraft arrive with passengers ready to inspect and purchase the latest vessels afloat.
As the largest event of its kind in the world, FLIBS annually draws an international crowd of about 100,000 attendees to the Fort Lauderdale area, many who arrive via private aircraft to shop for superyachts, boats, exotic cars and other luxury items.
The economic synergies among the recreational boating industry, the general aviation community and the destination industry of South Florida are self-evident to Sheltair. We believe we have an integral role to play in strengthening all three through service, attention to detail, efficiencies that are passed on to the aircraft owner/operator and genuine hospitality, stated Mr. Seymour.
Part of Sheltair’s corporate mission statement is to provide aviation support services, construction and facilities management at such a level that it creates additional jobs inside and beyond the airport it is located within. If we are doing our job right we are an economic generator, encouraging investment and job growth by welcoming the corporations and individuals who are sizing up a market the moment they step off their aircraft, continued Seymour. Whether it is for a boat show or a contract closing, the attention to service needs to be world class when an aircraft is chocked and a passenger disembarks.
An exclusive reception.
This year Sheltair will host an exclusive boat show party on November 4th at Fort Lauderdale entitled WingsWheelsWater2015 to launch the show and kick off the South Florida winter season. The event not only brings together show goers and the local community for a gala evening of food and fun but also serves to raise funds for Angel Flight Southeast where pilots provide their aircraft and time free of charge to assist patients in travel to medical facilities they would otherwise not have access to.
The gala event takes place at a time when Sheltair is continuing to expand their hangar complex at Sheltair FLL Westside. The company is currently preparing the site for eight executive hangars totaling almost 150,000 square feet of space with capabilities up to a Global 7000. Sheltair anticipates completion by the fourth quarter of 2016 with custom options available.
Mr. Seymour concluded, We are proud and honored to host this gala as it not only celebrates this wonderful Fort Lauderdale tradition but raises dollars for a very worthy cause.
Current gala event sponsors include Dassault Falcon Jet Corp, Private and Pre-Owned Jets, Pilatus Aircraft Ltd., Embraer Executive Jets and the Embraer Legacy 500, Cessna, SunTrust Bank, Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale, Maserati of Fort Lauderdale, Van Dutch, HMY Yachts, Avfuel, the Fur Salon of Saks Fifth Avenue, Bacardi U.S.A., Penfolds Wines, Whitehaus Media Group and Venice Magazine.

SHELTAIR MARKS THE START OF THE NYS AVIATION SALES TAX EXEMPTION BY COMMENCING INITIAL SITE PREPARATION FOR THEIR NEW HANGAR DEVELOPMENT PROJECT AT REPUBLIC AIRPORT
East Farmingdale, NY) – To mark the September 1st enactment of the New York State sales-and-use tax exemption on general aviation transactions which is expected to create enormous economic benefits for the entire state, Sheltair officially commenced the initial land clearing on what will soon become a new multimillion dollar premier FBO terminal and aircraft hangar complex at Republic Airport (FRG) in East Farmingdale, New York, located some 35 miles east of Manhattan.
If Governor Andrew Cuomo was hoping to see immediate results from Albany’s decision to pass this progressive legislation he need not look further than state owned Republic Airport, explained Warren Kroeppel, Sheltair’s Chief Operating Officer (COO). On the very date that this tax exemption takes effect Sheltair has commenced its initial site preparation phase on some 40 acres of airport property set aside and approved for this purpose after an exhaustive environmental, economic and operational review and approval by a variety of regulatory agencies and the surrounding airport community.
Kroeppel stated, Sheltair’s decision to proceed with this FBO and hangar development project reflects our full faith and confidence in the role of Republic Airport as a key general aviation transportation center, and the strategic benefits including economic development – and ultimately new permanent jobs – that will be generated by the aviation sales tax exemption, and the ability of Sheltair to meet the demands of the general aviation community seeking access to 21st Century state-of-the-art FBO services, amenities and new aircraft storage facilities.
Michael Giardino, president of the New York Aviation Management Association (NYAMA), stated that the role of the sales tax exemption cannot be overstated in strengthening the economic benefits generated at airports such as Republic. He explained that the tax exemption levels the playing field†with nearby states that have similar exemptions as it removes the temptation for New Yorkers to base their aircraft outside the state.
The sales-and-use tax exemption applies to all general aviation aircraft, whether experimental, light sport, or certificated; piston or jet. There are no size or capacity restrictions.
Sheltair’s multi-million dollar aviation development project at Republic Airport calls for as much as 210,000 square feet of new hangar space with door heights a minimum of 28 feet to accommodate the latest corporate jets, thereby ensuring that the needs of a robust and vital general aviation community can be met.
Kroeppel observed that any number of individuals and organizations should take credit for this ground breaking as it reflects a commitment to keep Republic Airport as a vital transportation center that connects Long Island and New York with international and national markets, allowing it to take advantage of the sales tax exemption passed by the Senate and the Assembly and signed into law by Governor Cuomo. Kroeppel also praised the New York Aviation Management Association (NYAMA), Long Island Business Aviation Association (LIBAA), the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), and other organizations that worked closely to brief lawmakers on the benefits of the exemption to the state.
A history of serving the aviation community
Sheltair has long operated its FBO facility at Republic inside a 66,000 square foot hangar originally built during World War II as part of the massive Republic Aviation factory that turned out 9,000 P-47 Thunderbolts. It recently announced the investment of nearly $1 million to further modernize the facility in anticipation of increased general aviation activity under the auspices of the coming sales tax exemption. SHELTAIR UPGRADES GA SERVICES AT LONG ISLAND MACARTHUR AIRPORT INVESTS IN ITS AVIATION INFRASTRUCTURE TO FURTHER SUPPORT ITS CUSTOMERS
SHELTAIR UPGRADES GA SERVICES AT LONG ISLAND MACARTHUR AIRPORT INVESTS IN ITS AVIATION INFRASTRUCTURE TO FURTHER SUPPORT ITS CUSTOMERS
Ronkonkoma- Islip, NY (ISP) – Todd Anderson, Senior Vice President Real Estate & Development, today announced that the company has launched a series of upgrades at their Long Island MacArthur Airport complex where the Fixed Based Operator (FBO) supports the needs of general aviation at the bi-county region’s only commercial airport. The latest efforts bring to $1.1 million the amount invested into their Islip FBO location by the company.
General aviation serves as a crucial transportation link for Long Island businesses and the economy as a whole with Long Island MacArthur Airport playing a vital role in supporting that function. Whether it is an international corporate jet arriving with executives to close a deal or an entrepreneur flying in to meet with his investor, one cannot overstate the role of general aviation. Our sustained commitment to serving that segment of the aviation community continues to be self-evident through our investment underway at Long Island MacArthur as well as our other properties in the New York metro area, stated Anderson.
Upgrades from roofs to ramps
Sheltair has begun a variety of infrastructure projects at Long Island MacArthur that include upgrades to two hangars, improved drainage, updated customer parking, the repaving of ramp and tie down areas as well as the removal of outdated fuel tanks that underscore the company’s commitment to environmental protection.
These investments come on the heels of Sheltair’s ongoing modernization of their 66,000 square foot hangar at Republic Airport in East Farmingdale, Long Island, one of the state’s busiest airports.
Let there be little doubt that our business decisions are in response to Governor Andrew Cuomo signing The Aviation Jobs Act which significantly reduces taxes on aviation related sales and maintenance in New York, continued Anderson. As a result, expect Sheltair to invest more in our New York infrastructure in the months and years to come.
Customs, Concierge and Catering among the services
Sheltair’s Long Island MacArthur Airport facility offers a full-service FBO with on-site Customs and the convenience of being only steps away from the main commercial aviation terminal. The company also offers deicing services, ground support with concierge, complimentary interior cleaning, catering, crew cars, shuttle services, a cafeteria/vending area, WIFI, conference rooms, flight planning/weather room and a pilot lounge that allows crews to relax between flights.
Sheltair also provides FBO support at JFK and LaGuardia and continues to expand in other states including Florida and Georgia.

Warren Kroeppel, Sheltair’s Chief Operating Officer, today announced that work is underway on upgrading their 66,000 square foot hangar that dominates Republic Airport (FRG), East Farmingdale, Long Island to ensure that it can continue to meet the needs of 21st Century general aviation and in recognition that the recently passed New York State Aviation Jobs Act will bring new economic growth opportunities at the state owned airport and at other Sheltair facilities throughout New York.
While the hangar is a marvelous historic landmark, its infrastructure has been continuously upgraded to ensure our customers and tenants get the support their aviation assets require, stated Kroeppel. This latest investment reflects a $1,000,000 commitment by Sheltair to ensure the electrical service meets our needs, the passenger lobby offers 21st Century design and amenities, the ramp is maintained, including a new drainage system and the building’s roof remains weather tight under any conditions.
The Sheltair executive explained that while Sheltair is constantly reinvesting in its infrastructure across the country the Republic facility became a priority in the wake of Governor Andrew Cuomo signing The Aviation Jobs Act which dramatically reduces taxes on aviation related sales and maintenance in New York, the nation’s gateway for international air travel.
Kroeppel stated, Our significant investment is a reflection of the commitment we made to state lawmakers and this Governor that if the jobs act was passed we would reaffirm our confidence in New York as a place to do business by strengthening our roots. Our Republic renovations are just part of that pledge and we are now poised to take advantage of the benefits this legislation will offer our industry. The New York State Aviation Jobs Act allows the state to confront the poaching of aviation related business by neighboring regions by reducing taxes and levies on aircraft sales and maintenance. As a result the aviation community will significantly benefit from the ability to reduce the cost of doing business in New York.
Sheltair has grown its already significant footprint in New York with major operations at JFK and LaGuardia and is expanding in other states experiencing a significant expansion in their economies including Florida and Georgia.
